It's going to feel so good to get John's garage cleaned out! I promise you, we've lived in this home for 7 years now and not once has he had enough room to park a vehicle in it! And it's a two car garage!! One side is devoted to an area you could have a workbench, etc. The outside door is on that side, but the other should have a car there! And he's never been able to do that. He is so excited about not having anymore boxes, Christmas items, and junk in his garage! I'm getting rid of my stuff and no one needs a storage place anymore! That man cracks me up!
I bought this mantel a few years back and used it as a headboard for a queen size mattress set. Have also used it with a double and would frame a twin bed. It worked out so well, as it's large enough to set a lamp on! There are two nails on either side, oh well I won't go into how incredibly easy it is to connect to your wall with two normal nails. If you decide you want this, I'll tell you then. I'm only asking $65 for it, I have two others that I'm using for myself. But this one we don't need and the three girls don't want it.

The smiles go straight through my heart and settle in my soul. I believe memories carries one through moments that are trying and difficult~
After going with Kay to the doctor's office, the three of us took off for Kyser Furniture where we shopped, browsed, dreamed and one of us picked out material for an upholstery project. Nope, it wasn't me! Although if Johnny Hood would let me I'd sell that leather sofa and get me a chenille one! From there we made a phone call to another friend, Lisa, who met us at the Ox Yoke for dinner!
And what fun we had! I laughed, as you'll see in the pictures. They are dear, dear friends and we've been through a lot together. I know that's why we're so close. We always have fun, especially when there's food in front of us! You'll note that ONE of us didn't like her picture being made! She was Quickdraw McGraw when the camera came out!!
It didn't matter what was handy, it got used!

Have a restful evening and enjoy the rainy weather~
This one has four pegs and measures 32 inches long, 15.5 inches high, and is 5.5 inches deep. There is no plate groove on the shelf behind the spindles. Cost $4
This shelf is the longest, has a glossier finish and four pegs. It measures 13 inches high, 36 inches long, and 5 inches deep. There is no plate groove on this one either. Cost $4
This one has scrolls on each side, 5 hooks, measures 8.5 inches high, 30 inches long, and 5.5 inches deep. This one has two plate grooves. There are some 4 or 5 other shelves, but these are the larger ones. Cost of this one $2
This bench, which needs repainting, measures 27 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 24 inches tall. I used it to display bunnies and old books at one time. It also was used in Jenny's bedroom when she was younger, but she doesn't want it and I don't need it. It is definitely sturdy enough to use as a bench in a child's room. In fact, I've stood on it before. Cost $4
I have three of these type tables. They all measure 24 inches tall, are three legged, half tables. Cost of each $4
When I purchased this old child's chair, I thought I would be using it. However, once I got it home, I decided the color was a bit vibrant for me, so it's been in storage. Maybe someone out there can find a home for it. Cost $4
Ian loves getting on it and Jenny can already do more minutes than either Johnny or myself. I get on it a few times during the day and haven't lost much weight, but I have noticed my agility has gotten better. (It doesn't take four hands to get me up off the floor now.)
