Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally used up and worn out, shouting '...MAN,what a ride!' ~ George Carlin
"Finally, brethren, whatsoever is true, whatsoever is honorable, whatsoever is right, whatsoever is pure, whatsoever is lovely, whatsoever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things." Philippians 4:8
Nancy, what a wonderful post!!! We should be so very thankful for what we have....and truth be known the smaller home probably is in so much less debt! Hope you're doing well and please tell me that you received your artwork safely! xxoo, Dawn
I absolutely loved this! It really gives food for thought. Big houses are beautiful--but I have often thought "I would not want to clean it!" And I have also wondered how many people living in those huge houses have so many huge bills to pay and work themselves to death to pay them!! Totally not worth it!
