Faith, Family and Friends

Our Mississippi babies will be here beginning today! and we are psyched. Leslie drives in and will be here for a few days before Stacey and her family come in Saturday. The above snapshot is our sweet Alaina and the only granddaughter. With three girls, we have three grandsons and only one little girl. But we get to be prissy with her, as you can tell from the picture. I'm loving that she and her dolly are both in purples, which is what her new furniture is all about!
Leslie had just worked a difficult, and looong, nursing day when she went by to see some fireworks. Alaina didn't like them or the noise as you can see from her expression. I'm glad her 'Weswie' gave her some needed love and took her inside to watch from the window. But Austin?

all boy! As the above snapshot shows, he not only loved the sparklers he also loved shooting the roman candles. I have to admit, though, there were a couple of shots with him holding his ears. I am so excited and so looking forward to having all four grandbabies together and watching them play and interact. Yep, it's going to be a grand week/weekend. Starting today!
