A Question ~

Like a lot of folks in this state, I had a job. I worked, they paid me. I paid my taxes, and the government distributed my taxes as it saw fit. In order to get that paycheck, I was required to pass a random urine test, with which I had no problem. What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who didn't, and don't, have to pass a urine test.

So here is my question ~ shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check, because we have to pass one to earn it for them? Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their rump -- doing drugs, while I work. Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check? I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

Yes they should! My only question would be about people on medication. Maybe a doctor's note would work in that case.

I agree. They should have to pass a test. And I have many more views about this subject. :o)

LOVE IT!! Fantastic Idea! You should run for public office! I'd vote for you! :)

Mom told me that when she was a mail carrier she had customers that would be sitting on their porch every day. But, that day that their checks came in, well, she'd better not be late! It overwhelms me to even think of the misuse of our money. Like, it's too broken to fix!
