Noah has, since he was able to talk in sentences, said, "I hold you" when he wants you to pick him up. Unlike his brother, who loves running, Noah loves to be held.
and he will put himself in front of you, not letting you walk around him, or hold his hand, until you pick him up, cuddle him, and carry him around. He's not a lightweight. But you know what? 
I will hold this child for as long as I am able.
and he knows it. And that's fine by me.
